hello, i will like to know about a good book or anything for that matter. That explains more in detail about a computer's hardware and software. Im not looking for a book that just explains what each part does. For example, i will like to read a book that explains the parts of the processor and other parts of the computer.
Honestly, you should just try wikipedia, I've basically learned computer hardwareeverything from there. Start at something very general like "computer processor" or something like that, and just keep following links you're interested in. I've spent hours going through multiple tabs of links on the same subject xD. Of course a book with everything together may be better, but I found wikipedia very useful and effective.
There are lots of resources on the intercomputer hardwarenet. I however have not found a single one that covers all the different components in a modern computer. Try e-how.com for one. An amazing resource would be wikipedia where you will find simple and in-depth explanations.
Otherwise just search for "how computers work" and take your pick.
