As long as you have an unlimited data plan with your cell phone provider, you can download as many programs for your phone as you would like without an added cost to you as long as the programs / games are freegames free. Some games you have to pay for and some are completely free. Also, back up your computer just in case you do get one, a friend would have had to pay about $100 to have a tech retrieve lost info from a virus. It may not be free, but will probably protect you better then anything free out there.

My friend recently got an MP4 player for Christmas, it's memory capacity read 4GB when he first started using it. After afew files became unusable, a reformat was necessary to wipe the memory. However, after reformatting it, the memory now reads 967MB only, I have tried everything I can think of to resolve this but am now stuck! The player reads 100% free memory, it consists of Samsung flash chips which I thought would be reliable. avg anti virus free editionHow do I remove AVG Free Edition Anti
The program will not run. Each time I start my PC a window pops up with this message "Could not initialize AVG Anti-Virus Kernel Interface. Application cannot run".
When I try to uninstall the program I get this message: "Installation failure. Error: Initialization of the language file "C\Program Files\Grisoft\Avg Free" failed. General failure". As a result of the installation not being completed I cannot uninstall it but neither can I try to reinstall it, or another anti-virus program. Also, I am not regsitered with AVG to post a help topic on its site.
AVG refuses to help because it is the free edition. I've been told my only option is to install a new hard disk and transfer all my programs to it and use a real anti-virus program.
Is there a practical solution to my dilemma?

Go to and get the latest version of AVG downloaded.
When going through the install process set it to 'Repair' install and it if AVG works then you can either leave it or un-install it. Good Luck!

My only solution now is to have a new hard disk installed and transfer only the data I need for my existing computer to the new hard disk. And, also, to stay away from AVG products.

When the uninstall didn't work correctly, you were left with a registry entry that has the permissions set wrong. You need to correct this so you can continue.
Run REGEDT32 and navigate to the following key...

Right click on the key name in the left window, savg anti virus free editionelect Permissions from the options. Give your username and the Administrators full permissions and apply, when it asks if you want to apply the same permissions for subkeys.. say yes.

Search for and delete all folders and files that AVG created.Some may be undeletable at this point, as they were lockedduring boot. Reboot, and run a registry cleaner. If you are using a manual one,read the instructions and help carefully first. The automated ones will find a load of useless stuff unrelated to AVG - it's OK to clean that out, too.
Reboot, go to command line and run regedit. In regedit, search for avg*, and delete all references that you find. Just delete the keys that start with avg, don't bother with any other keys that may be associated with those. Most of them will be in the Software section of the registry. Don't delete anything else, no matter how tempting
Reboot. You should now be able to delete all remaining files and folders created by AVG install.
Reboot, and run the registry cleaner again.
You should now have a clean machine, or as clean as the registry cleaner could make it.
Reboot, and reinstall using another download of AVG
start your pc in safe mode and then try to uninstall it from add and remove programmes

ok, i've heard gory stories about the vista but i'm just wondering the reliability of these sources. And, it may be incompatible with some of the software on your computer.
I would say wait a while......if it was so awesome, Microsoft wouldn't be giving it away for free.....

Well you can if you have cusom firmware. There are many sites you can find just by using google. I googled free psp game downloads and used the 2nd one (sorry don't remember site). Well you can if you have cusom firmware. There are many sites you can find just by using google. I googled free psp game downloads and used the 2nd one (sorry don't remember site). All you need to do is just rent the games or borrow them from a friend and copy them to your memory sticks.

I am getting a playstation 3 for christmas and read PS3 can play divx files. Can the PS3 find shared network video files off my desktop computer on the same network and play the video off of that? or do i have to copy them to an external hard drive and connect that in order to play the videos I download?

Would the attendees want to place orders right then and there? Or would they only get information for future reference? I only have these ideas and concept designs, I would need to have someone make them professionally, I would assume I would at least have to have a sample product? A lot of people don't realize what the bulk of the cost is in buying software. It is not a box or a disk or a manual, but rather a license to use the software.
I have bought OEM software in the past and been happy with it. The discount for the particular product you mentioned seems steep (so I would be highly suspicious). Is this a respectable company? Unfortunately, the only way to know if you are buying a legal product is to see some kind of proof that the distrubtor has the legal right to sell the software. Some sort of distribution/licensing agreement. Why not send an email and ask for proof that the product is legit? It would be the safe play for your legal concerns.

hello, i will like to know about a good book or anything for that matter. That explains more in detail about a computer's hardware and software. Im not looking for a book that just explains what each part does. For example, i will like to read a book that explains the parts of the processor and other parts of the computer.

Start at something very general like "computer processor" or something like that, and just keep following links you're interested in. I've spent hours going through multiple tabs of links on the same subject xD. Of course a book with everything together may be better, but I found wikipedia very useful and effective.
There are lots of resources on the intercomputer hardwarenet. I however have not found a single one that covers all the different components in a modern computer. Try e-how.com for one. An amazing resource would be wikipedia where you will find simple and in-depth explanations.
Otherwise just search for "how computers work" and take your pick.

Here is my problem. I have the USB cable for my phone and I found the program that installs the phone to my computer online. My computer recognizes my phone as a USB modem and when it asks for the driver it installs it with no problems. After it installs the driver the computer then recognizes the phone as a Motorola V3C. It also begins to charge my phone through the PC. It than asks for software for the phone and when I press ok itusb cable modem free download doesnt find it and says "Cannot install this hardware". Even if you did find a copy of Word on an illegal site, Windows does a Windows Genuine Advantage check that will take away your software license if it detects that you STOLE it (which is what you're doing). Be smart and download OpenOffice.
