Anytime a singer is credited with "being an influence" it has to be an honor. So I believe the likes of Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard would accept the honor of having been an influence.
As long as Rascal Flatts continues to turn out songs likrascal flatts influencese My Wish & What Hurts The Most he will be a credit to country music.

They would be and are proud that such a great band likes them.Especially Johnny Cash because he was a open minded Liberal musician who was always up and ready for new sounds.
Rascal Flatts is one of the best bands out there today, if notrascal flatts influences THE best. I think these guys would be flattered that they have influenced a band that keeps true to themselves and makes millions of people happy!
I love Rascal Flatts! I would think thats the men would all be very proud to be their influence and help them to be creative and come up with masterpeices!
