if my avg trial version expires, can i still download it and acquire it?
An expired trial version usually cannot be re-installed.
An entry is made in the registry preventing this when the program is first installed and remains even after uninstalling the program.
Worth a try but don't count on it wavg trialorking.
AVG has two versions. A free basic anti virus version and a commercial version.
Does the commercial version have a free trial period?
If that's the case and it's the version you're using it's unlikely you will be able to re-install it.
I used to have AVG free but I use Avast now. It's alavg trialso free but needs registration shortly after installation and then every 12 months.
I've found it more effective than AVG.

you could try uninstalling it and installing a new download
